“Homestead is where the art is.”

Map, Directions, Advisory

Directions to Festival locations and rough map below.  If planning to visit the area, please first read the Advisory!  Thanks, and enjoy your visit.

FI-LOX-SEE:  Fi-Lox-See is located 8.7 miles east of downtown Twentynine Palms off Highway 62 (two miles east of Twentynine Palms Airport, just past the curve in HWY 62).  Look for the blue call box on the left at mile marker 42 and turn south (right) on Fi-Lox-See Avenue. The gallery is at the end of the road on the left.  www.wondervalleyarts.com

THE PALMS:  The Palms is at 83131 Amboy Road, about 12 miles east of Adobe. The Palms.   Map.

POPLIGHT:  About 45 miles east of Twentynine Palms on Amboy Road, north of Sheephole Pass on the dry lake.  Bring a map, and if you hit the train tracks you’ve gone too far.  Make sure your gas tank and water jug are full before you go.  www.poplight.net

SHACK APPRECIATION SHOW:  Trader Jeff’s Vintage Shop & Gallery, 73550 Twentynine Palms Highway at Yucca Avenue (across from Rio Ranch Market) in downtown Twentynine Palms.  760-367-0385.  www.vintage29palms  Map.

ADVISORY!:  We’re glad you’ve come but remind you when visiting Wonder Valley to please be safe, respect our community, and respect the law. Though property lines may not be obvious to you most of Wonder Valley is privately owned and owners DO NOT APPRECIATE TRESPASS.  This includes cabins that look abandoned.  Keep your safety in mind. Most maps of the area are not accurate and it’s easy to get lost or stuck in the sand. Stick to the main roads, carry plenty of water, and dress appropriately. Watch out for wild dogs, snakes, and undermined soil. Neglected structures are full of hazards; stay away!

NOTE:  If you want to make a circuit between The Palms and Fi-Lox-See, you can easily cross Wonder Valley on either Godwin (which is paved, but includes some back-tracking) or on Shelton (which is dirt but usually in very good shape).
